Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 29 April 2026
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, renewals, refunds, trials, and billing disputes work for Aksusnet subscriptions.
1. Subscription renewals
Paid subscriptions renew automatically according to the billing cycle selected at checkout or in the billing portal, unless cancelled before renewal.
Billing cycles may be monthly, yearly, or another period shown at checkout.
2. Cancellation
You may cancel a paid subscription through the billing settings, Stripe customer portal, or by contacting billing@aksusnet.eu.
Unless stated otherwise during checkout:
- cancellation stops future renewals;
- access to paid features usually continues until the end of the current paid billing period;
- we do not automatically refund the unused portion of the current billing period unless required by law or stated in this policy.
3. Free plan
If your organization is on a free plan, no subscription fee is charged. Free plan limits may apply.
If you downgrade from a paid plan to a free plan, your access may be limited according to free plan limits at the end of the paid billing period or as described during downgrade.
4. Trials
If a free trial is offered:
- trial length and terms will be shown at signup or checkout;
- payment may be required before or after the trial depending on the offer;
- if payment details are collected and the trial converts automatically, this will be shown before you start the trial;
- you must cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged, unless stated otherwise.
5. Refund window
For first-time paid subscriptions, we may offer a refund if you contact us within 14 days of the initial purchase and your request meets this policy.
Refund requests should be sent to billing@aksusnet.eu and include:
- account email;
- organization name;
- invoice or payment reference if available;
- reason for the request.
6. Renewal payments
Renewal payments are generally non-refundable unless:
- required by applicable law;
- there was a duplicate charge;
- there was a billing error;
- the Service was not provided due to an issue within our control;
- we approve the refund at our discretion.
To avoid renewal charges, cancel before the renewal date.
7. Annual subscriptions
Annual subscriptions may be discounted compared to monthly billing. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at checkout, annual subscription payments are non-refundable after the refund window.
8. Upgrades and downgrades
If you upgrade a plan, additional charges may apply immediately or be prorated depending on the billing system.
If you downgrade a plan, the downgrade may take effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise. Feature limits may change after downgrade.
9. EU and consumer rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer rights, you may have legal rights that cannot be limited by this policy.
For digital services that begin immediately after purchase, you may be asked to consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that certain withdrawal rights may be affected once performance begins. The exact treatment depends on applicable law and the checkout wording used.
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights that apply to you.
10. Refund method
Approved refunds are usually issued to the original payment method through our payment processor. Processing time may depend on the payment processor, bank, card network, and payment method.
11. Taxes and fees
Refunded taxes, if any, are handled according to applicable law and payment processor capabilities. Currency conversion, bank, or card fees charged by third parties may not be refundable by us.
12. Account suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, fraud, abuse, security risk, or violation of the Terms of Service. Refunds are not provided for accounts suspended or terminated for serious violations unless required by law.
13. Service unavailability
If the Service is materially unavailable due to an issue within our control, contact us at billing@aksusnet.eu. We may provide a refund, credit, extension, or other remedy at our discretion or as required by law.
14. How to request a refund
Send refund requests to billing@aksusnet.eu.
Please include:
- your account email;
- organization name;
- payment date;
- invoice or receipt reference;
- short explanation of the issue.
